By now, data breaches and the scandals surrounding them are becoming routine. It’s like an alcoholic in the family – and I should know, I grew up with alcoholic parents. After a while, everyone adjusts and what used to be unheard-of becomes the new normal and everyone forgets what the old normal was like. But the Equifax fiasco is such a colossal failure a failure on so many levels, maybe we’ll all finally wake up and do something about it this time. We can make something good come from this mess.
